With the east coast still struggling to recover from the devastation left in the wake of Hurricane Sandy,MTV announced today that they would be reuniting the cast Jersey Shore for a special relief telethon next week to benefit those in Seaside Heights, which was hit hard by the storm earlier this month.
The live fundraiser special, titled Restore the Shore, will be hosted by the cast of Jersey Shore in an effort to raise funds to contribute to the rebuilding and restoration of Seaside. Money raised during the telethon will be collected by the non-profit organization Architecture for Humanity, which will then work with the city to begin the recovery process.
The telethon will air live on November 15th.
