If you're ever presented with the opportunity to try and pick up Jennifer Lawrence at a bar, good news: If you try to make some weird or lame joke in reference to her role as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, she won't mind at all.
Speaking to the New York Times about her role in the upcoming Silver Linings Playbook alongside Bradley Cooper, Lawrence of course addressed the monumental fame starring in the The Hunger Games franchise has brought her, and said that the films are "something that I’m proud of," before adding, "Like, I don’t get annoyed when the guy at the bar says, 'May the odds be ever in your favor.'"
So, if you see Jennifer Lawrence at a bar and decide to go up to her, then freeze up the second you catch her attention and you end up spewing out some quote from The Hunger Games, don't worry - you probably won't ever go home with her, because this is real life and not a cheesy CW show, but she won't laugh in your face either. It's the little victories in life, you know?
