Nearly two weeks ago, there was a drop test conducted on the Nexus 7, along with the iPad Mini. While the Google tablet did fare well in the trials, maybe we should've seen how the device fared when it was being charged on its original factory charger. In China, after connecting it for only a few seconds, the tablet started to emit smoke. Eventually, the Nexus 7 turned into what you see in the above image. According to CNET, the owner of the burned Nexus 7 was lucky enough to turn around his misfortune with a free pair of Google Glass upon its release. OK, did this customer do it on purpose? We kid, we kid.
