Good news: According to Variety, FX has opted to order 13 more episodes of both Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell and Brand X With Russell Brand. Both shows seem to be consistent with the ratings, which pretty much made them shoo-ins for renewals.
"We're proud to have two of the most strikingly original and funny voices in latenight as part of the FX comedy lineup," a spokesperson for the network commented on the decision. Totally Biased - which is executive produced by Chris Rock and features comedian W. Kamau Bell - garnered mostly positive reviews upon its premiere in August, and its first season finale is set to air on November 29th. As for Brand X, it will be extended to an hour from its original 30-minute format when it returns on February 7th, 2013.
