39-year-old Tracy Dimasi was arrested last week for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend during an argument about his cat, then throwing the animal out of the window. Dimasi told police that they argued over the cat being out, and her 41-year-old boyfriend said that she threw the cat out of an open window and left. He alleges that she followed him into a spare bedroom, then struck him with a knife, which he thought was just a fist until he started bleeding and saw the knife in Dimasi's hands.
Dimasi claims that her boyfriend pushed her after the argument, then stepped on her neck. While on the ground, she says he punched, kicked and choked her. She did admit to stabbing her boyfriend, and was charged with aggravated domestic battery.
