Two Florida teens decided that they would take it upon themselves to bring Thanksgiving dinner home on their own. 18-year-old Jacob Provo and 19-year-old Joshua Anderson have been accused of shooting a turkey that belonged to the Caponi family. The Caponi's own over 50 animals, and were concerned when Tom the turkey went missing.
Security footage showed two men on the Caponi's property, and a pickup truck that the Caponi's recognized as belonging to a neighbor. Police tracked down the truck and found the dead bird inside. They also found Provo and Anderson, who said that they planned to eat the 30-pound bird for Thanksgiving.
Both Provo and Anderson were charged with animal cruelty, armed burglary and trespassing and theft of livestock.
