According to authorities in Florida, a man confessed to trafficking meth, then flushed the confession down the toilet and made fun of the detective he was speaking to. While in custody, Patrick Townsend confessed, saying that he usually deals in larger quantities. A detective recorded it all, but made the mistake of leaving the recorder on the table. Townsend snatched the device and hid it in his armpit, then asked to use the bathroom.
The detective returned, and after a frantic search for the recorder, Townsend reportedly told him "Tighten up on your job, homie," while laughing. He was charged with meth trafficking and destroying evidence, and is being held without bail.
He'sdefinitely bold and a sense of humor, but damn sure isn't that smart.
