Looking to recreate the success of their wildly popular Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, which was based off the theme park ride of the same name, Disney is working on a series based on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pilot will be appropriately titled Big Thunder Mountain.

Apart from being based on the ride, there aren't many details about the project yet, but it will reportedly be written by Ice Age: Continental Drift scribe Jason Fuchs, and Fast & FuriousChris Morgan set to executive produce. The ride itself follows a small mining town that's taken over by the gold rush of the late 1800's, before tragedy strikes in the form of a major natural disaster (which varies by theme park).
