During an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, actor Damian Lewis talked about how much of a fan President Obama is of his show, Homeland, and how he requested a signed DVD box set from the cast. Apparently not satisfied with just signing the set, Lewis decided to also add a little joke that read “From one Muslim to another” next to his name.

This is the type of joke that would make Donald Trump’s toupee fall off in hysterics, but even Lewis admitted that he immediately regretted it and said that “I do hope he understands irony.” You can check out a video of the appearance above. The Obama talk comes in around 7:10.
