Colin Trevorrow Is Rumored To Be In The Running To Direct "Star Wars: Episode VII"

Randomness.

None

According to Celeb Buzz, Colin Trevorrow is rumored to be a potential directorial candidate for the recently announced Star Wars: Episode VII. Obviously Trevorrow isn’t a household name, but his indie/sci-fi film, Safety Not Guaranteed, gained a lot of fans over at Lucasfilm, including George Lucas himself. Trevorrow even met with Lucas before the company’s sale to Disney to discuss the possibility of directing the first installment of the new Star Wars trilogy.

Remember, though, this is yet another in a large number of rumors attached to this project. We’ve already heard that Matthew Vaughn might get the gig last week, and now we’re hearing this. Eventually we’ll get our answer, but until then, wild speculation reigns supreme.
