California Woman Live Tweets Citizen's Arrest of Burglar Using Sword and Bear Spray

Straight thuggin'.

Sonya Yu was tired of her San Francisco neighborhood being terrorized by a burglar, who had stolen $1,000 worth of merchandise from her a few months ago. Fed up, she decided to clap back with bear spray and a wooden Japanese sword for training swordsmen. On Tuesday, Yu blasted the crook with the spray from her first-floor balcony, then chased him down with the sword.

She was able to slow him down so that police could arrest him. She even had enough time to tweet about her citizen's arrest. Apparently, Yu was hit in the face by the "blow back" of the bear spray, but not even that could stop her from tweeting about her foray into crime fighting.

51-year-old Andy Anduha was arrested and charged with attempted burglary. He'll be arraigned for one count of first degree residential burglary, and could face up to six years in jail if convicted.
