We reported yesterday how some PC users found an unwelcome surprise with their copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, a second disc containing Mass Effect 2.

In response BioWare has sent out copies of Mass Effect Trilogy to some of the PC users. BioWare released  a tongue-in-cheek response to the mix up.

"If the universe thinks that you should be playing Mass Effect right now," the post reads, "who are we to argue?"

Activision has urged players to use the product key to activate the game via Steam if you accidentally got the opening day swap. Were you one of the lucky ones to get a free copy of the trilogy? Let us know what you think on Twitter.
