Who better to direct a documentary about Beyoncé than, well, Beyoncé herself? Seems that's exactly what HBO is thinking, because Vulture is reporting the singer herself is set to direct and star in her own documentary for the network. Set for a February 16, 2013 premiere date, the project will combine footage of her on-stage performances with clips shot by Beyonce herself, and focus on her "family life, including her return to the spotlight after the birth of her daughter."

Additionally, according to HBO, the documentary "sheds light on her childhood in Houston, with home movies revealing the close bond she built with her family and charts the challenges Beyoncé felt when she decided to manage her career and build her own company, Parkwood Entertainment."

Beyoncé will also executive produce the film, because she can actually do everything. True story.
