AT&T Will Allow FaceTime Over LTE At No Charge

About time.

None

After angering customers with its plan to require a separate data plan to use FaceTime over cellular, a feature enabled by the iPhone 5's support for LTE, AT&T says it has decided to offer the service for free. In the next eight to 10 weeks, anyone with an LTE iOS device (iPhone 5 or iPad 3/4), will be able to make FaceTime calls anywhere they have cell service. That should help bring on the futuristic video calling future we were promised when FaceTime was first introduced in 2010.
