The act of digitally turning a page has, for a lack of better term, turned a page. That is because Apple's Patent D670,713, which is titled "Display screen or portion thereof with animated graphical user interface" was approved earlier this week. While the patent doesn't specifically point out what action they're protecting, the second thumbnail image does show a page being turned from the bottom right corner which may, in fact, be their main focus in filing this patent. So, look out rival eBook devices, you better hope weirdos people can get used to turning their page from the top right corner.

Anyway, do you think this patent by Apple is a little excessive? Or does it fall in line with the competitive nature that is personal advancements in technology?
