In an email to customers yesterday, Apple teased that various electronics and accessories will be discounted during a one-day sale on Black Friday.

According to Apple, a one-day shopping event will begin this Friday at midnight Pacific time. Additionally, Apple retail locations will operate with extended hours on Friday, as well.

The email teaser read:

"The one-day Apple shopping event is Friday 23 November. Get ready to give. Shop online or at your favourite Apple Retail Store. We'll help you make the most of the day, no matter how you shop."

As usual, the actual items and prices on sale have not been revealed by Apple. In the past, Apple offered $41 to $61 off the iPad, $21 to $41 off iPod Touches, and $101 off Macs. The iPhone is not expected to be included in the shopping event. Items purchased online on Black Friday however will receive free shipping in the US.

Make sure you log on to Apple.com this Friday for full details of products discounted for Black Friday.
