Amazon apparently has an in-house game development studio, known as Lemon Team, and the bookseller has just published its second game: Air Patriots. Interestingly, it's not just for Android devices, as one might expect given Amazon's tablet leanings. The game is available no for free on iOS devices as well.
It looks like a cross between Flight Control and a tower defense game. Naturally, Amazon will make up for the lack of an entrance fee with microtransactions, but you can still presumably have a good time with Air Patriots without spending anything.
Might as well try it out, since it's free. What do you think about Amazon developing and publishing its own games?
