ABC's "Family Tools" Gets Three Episodes Cut From First Season Order

Bad news.

Bad news for ABC's upcoming sitcom Family Tools: According to Deadline, the network has cut the series' first season episode order from 13 to 10, citing scheduling conflicts as the reason for the decision. Apparently, the network overestimated how much time they would need before the next cycle of Dancing With the Stars premieres, and had to make the necessary changes in programming to accommodate that show because for some reason everyone loves watching C-list celebrities ballroom dancing.

Of course, ABC's excuse for the cut could really mean scheduling reasons, but it could also very realistically be a kiss of death for the series when it premieres in January. No word on what ABC plans on doing with the three episodes that were cut.
