50 Cent is headed to Starz. According to Variety, the network has just picked up a new hourlong drama called Power, which the rapper is set to executive produce alongside his Freelancers partners, Mark Canton and Randall Emmett. The Good Wife's Courtney Kemp Agboh will pen the project, in addition to executive producing alongside the trio.
As for the plot - set in NYC, the series will follow a nightclub owner who "skirts the line between legitimacy and criminality," meaning there will probably be lots of pensive staring-out-window scenes and metaphors about how right and wrong is never black and white. Just how we like our cable television!
