The 25 Coolest Hitmen In Movies

2. Jules Winnfield, Pulp Fiction (1994)

Played by: Samuel L. Jackson

This jerry-curl-wearing, bible-quoting lunatic is still the most memorable role Samuel L. Jackson has ever taken. He’s cool and slick, yet if you piss him off he will pump you full of lead. Nor is some gun-toting monster. Jules is a hilarious, real dude who likes to talk about fast food and sex. His high-point comes right during his introductory scene when he, along with his partner, Vincent Vega (John Travolta), wastes a room full of jokers who owe his boss money.

Writer-director Quentin Tarantino has the uncanny knack to make us connect with the most unsavory of characters in all of his movies, though none are quite as memorable as Jules.
