For the record, anytime a noose appears on a sign that also references an African-American, it's going to be interpreted negatively. That's why sign-maker Thomas Savka's "Hang in there Obama" sign, complete with an illustration of a noose, is so puzzling. According to Savka, it's meant to show his support for the POTUS. Question for Savka: How?

The sign has been posted on Highway 21 in Redgranite, WI, and Savka says it was designed to encourage President Obama to keep fighting. As for the noose, he says it was added to draw attention, which it has—for all of the wrong reasons. Considering his profession, you'd think Savka would be more responsible and aware of the messages delivered by his signs.
