Did Samsung pay off the writers of Saturday Night Live for this sketch? Or did the people at SNL realize that iPhone users and testers are constantly unsatisfied bunch? Either way, this take on those individuals that have far too many complaints about the new iPhone 5 is spot on.
With guest SNL host Christina Applegate playing the role of Caitlin Owens of "Tech Talk," she interviews cast member Bill Hader's character "Josh Savage" which is a reference to CNET's reporter, Josh Lowensohn, while the other two people are supposed to represent a person from Wired and Gizmodo. Eventually, their outspoken complaints are confronted by Chinese factory workers who fire back and rip up their critics.
Sidebar: The "traditional sarcastic dance" and "sad Chinese violin" were just icing on the cake.
