The "Art of the Assassin" art gallery and party already stopped in LA and Chicago, and now it's New York's turn to check out the Assassin's Creed 3 art and be regaled by sexy DJ music and voter registration paraphernalia.

Ubisoft has teamed up with Rock the Vote for the dual purpose of pimping Assassin's Creed 3 and political responsibility this fall, with the voter registration organization luring in college students with the promise of game demos and the two groups collaborating for the patriotic travelling "Art of the Assassin" gallery.

The gallery features art done by contemporary artists who've been inspired by Assassin's Creed (and who hasn't been?). It'll be at The Hole in SoHo from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 10, directly preceding the game's showing at New York Comic-Con that week.

At the end of the month, the works on display will be auctioned off and the proceeds given directly to Rock the Vote. Check out our own gallery from the show's opening in LA if you want a better idea of what's in store.

So does all this make you want to vote? Or does it just make you want to play Assassin's Creed 3?
