The beautifully minimal PlayStation 3 exclusive The Unfinished Swan gets a baby developer diary highlighting the importance of sound design in the game.

Joel Corelitz, the game's composer, talks about how the sound and the music are just as important as the game's visual components.

"My goal was to blur the lines and try to find the best of both worlds: to use the opportunity I had as a composer not just to write a score, but to knit the fabric for this world, completely from scratch."

The game follows a young boy as he 'paints' the world around him, trying to find a swan that has escaped a canvas into a an unfinished world. The game begins in a completely white space where players can throw paint to splatter their surroundings and reveal the world around them.
