The Hobbit was always a much more whimsical tale than Tolkien’s decidedly grimmer Lord of the Rings saga, and this spot perfectly conveys that sense of awe and fantasy. But this isn’t a children’s movie by any stretch, especially when you see the widescreen cinematography and sophisticated special effects that Peter Jackson has brought to Middle Earth. Simply put, we can’t wait until The Hobbit hits theaters on December 14. Check out the spot above.
