Borderlands Legends was first spotted yesterday, but it wasn't until today that it was officially announced by 2K Games that the iOS spin-off title would be available Oct. 31. Odd, since that's little more than a week away. Coincidence? Hm.
Either way, Borderlands Legends certainly sounds like an interesting take on the franchise. Instead of a first-person shooter, it's an isometric-perspective action RPG with full-on touch controls. That said, inventory and skill management systems appear largely unchanged, if trimmed down, from the console Borderlands games.
Borderlands Legends will be available on Halloween for the iPhone and iPad at $4.99 and $6.99, respectively.
