After Taken 2 brought in about $50 million during its opening weekend, it became clear that yet another sequel would probably be on the horizon. And now we have actual proof because the writer of the movie, Robert Mark Kamen, just said this to Hollywood.com: “We didn't start talking about [Taken 3] until we saw the numbers. But then we said, 'Oh, okay. I think we should do a third one.' And Fox wants us to do a third one."

For those of you wondering what could be taken from Liam Neeson’s character in the third one, Kamen revealed that, “In the first Taken, Neeson's character Bryan Mills' daughter was taken. In Taken 2, he and his wife were taken." He continued, "We've taken everyone we can take — it's going to go in another direction. Should be interesting."

What exactly does “another direction” mean? We’ll just have to sit back and wait.
