Tuesday evening, University of Texas students demonstrated in front of the campus's Martin Luther King, Jr. statue, and marched against what are being understood as racist attacks of "bleach-bombing" (minority students have been the targets of bleach-filled water balloons tossed from apartment balconies). The students in minority groups on campus stated that they have been victims of multiple racist attacks over the past several weeks.

One unnamed source stated that he has seen white students bleach-bombed as well, and it was reported that these bleach-bombings occur roughly once or twice a month.

The University held a press conference earlier Tuesday, though students were upset with the late notice they were provided of the event.
