38-year-old Vindalee Smith was found stabbed to death inside of her apartment in Brownsville yesterday morning. Smith, who was eight months pregnant, suffered multiple stab wounds to the neck. According to friends who were at the crime scene, she was supposed to have a baby shower last night and her wedding was supposed to be today. Sadly, the unborn child did not survive.
Smith was a Seven Day Adventist, and at New Dimension Church members grew concerned when she didn't show up for morning service. Smith also has four children in their teens and 20s. No arrests have been made, but an investigation will continue.
