Though they were announced over a month ago, pricing for the two most eagerly anticipated Windows Phones yet has remained elusive... until now. The folks at WPCentral have spotted both the Nokia Lumia 920 and the HTC 8X on sale for pre-order at Best Buy, with the phones selling for $149 and $99 respectively with a two-year contract.
Both price points are very compelling for what are undoubtedly premium devices designed to stand toe-to-toe with state of the art handsets like the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy S III. With such an aggressive price strategy, Microsoft is obviously hoping to win over as many converts as possible to its still-fledgling Windows Phone platform.
Both the Lumia 920 and the 8X will likely figure in Microsoft's planned launch for the latest version of its software, Windows Phone 8, scheduled for October 29.
