After months of rumor and speculation, Marvel has finally announced the release date for its upcoming adaptation of Ant-Man, according to Super Hero Hype. The Edgar Wright directed movie will officially be hitting theaters on November 6, 2015. Ant-Man will join The Avengers 2 (May 1, 2015) as the company’s only films planned for the year so far.
Aside from a release date, nothing major is known about Ant-Man. We do know that Wright co-wrote the script with Joe Cornish, though. And we can assume that the character probably won’t appear in an Avengers sequel if Marvel continues the trend of introducing major properties in solo films before introducing them in team-up movies. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
