Yesterday, we reported on Sharmeka Moffittof Winnsboro, LA, who was reportedly set on fire by three men clad in white hoods and had the words "KKK" and "nigger" written on the back of her car with toothpaste. Now, police are reporting that Moffitt injured herself and destroyed her own car. She's still in critical condition at the LSU Medical Center, but has apparently confessed to writing the slur herself.
Authorities were able to trace her fingerprints to a lighter found at the scene. Her motive is unknown, and her mother was left to apologize to everyone.
