Sarah Palin has been the butt of many Jimmy Kimmel jokes over the years, so it was perhaps a tad weird that her daughter Bristol was booked on his show following being ousted from Dancing with the Stars. Nevertheless, she soldiered on.
"I appreciate you coming," Kimmel told her. "Because I made probably one or two jokes about your mother over the years."
"I'm here for my apology," Palin shot back.
"I'm sorry," Kimmel replied.
"No, you're not," Bristol said, laughing. "
I'm not sorry, you're right," Kimmel admitted. "But I will allow you to make 48,000 jokes about my mother just to make us even."
"I don't know your mom," Palin said.
"If you knew her, you would make fun of her, that I can promise you," Kimmel added.
