German Teen Pawns Mother's Jewelry to Visit Brothel

Hustling backwards.

None

A 14-year-old German boy allegedly stole between 2,000 and 3,000 euros worth of his mother jewelry and pawned if for 300 euros to fund not one but two trips for himself and a friend to a brothel. That comes out to $2,500 to $3,800 worth of jewels being pawned for $380. What's wrong with kids these days?! German police said that the boy's mother is pressing charges against her son for theft, who owned up to his crime. Great, but someone needs to explain to this kid that he was ripped off.

At the same time, police are investigating the brothel that serviced that two youngsters. Prostitution is legal in Germany, but only to those 18 and over. The brothel manager (does that sound right?) says the boys were turned away due to their age. Right. As for the kid, he's a great friend and terrible son.
