If you need a good cast put together, clearly all you have to do is call George Clooney. According to Deadline, the actor is set to co-direct and star in the upcoming World War II drama, The Monuments Men, alongside Daniel Craig, Cate Blanchett, Bill Murray, Jean Dujardin, John Goodman, Hugh Bonneville, and Bob Balaban. In other words, James Bond, Peter Venkman, and Elizabeth I all in a movie together. Think of the hijinks they'll get into!
The film will reportedly follow a group of art historians and museum curators who "unite to recover renown works of art that were stolen by Nazis before Hitler destroys them." Clooney wrote the script for the film, along with Good Night and Good Luck. writer Grant Heslov.
Production is set to begin on March 1st in Europe.
