You can all rest easy, Parks and Recreation fans - turns out, we're finally going to get a look at Gayle, the often-mentioned wife of Pawnee parks department employee, Jerry (Jim O'Heir). According to The Hollywood Reporter, producers for the NBC show have enlisted supermodel Christie Brinkley to portray the character, and she's set to guest star in the upcoming season five episode, "Ron and Diane" - which is, as previously reported, the same episode that Megan Mullally's Tammy 2 is set to make an appearance in as well.
But let's take a moment to process this. Jerry and supermodel Christie Brinkley. Supermodel Christie Brinkley and...Jerry.
