Despite all the mediocre pumpkin-flavored craft beer you'll drink from now until Thanksgiving, know that Japan is doing it bigger when it comes to seasonal squash.
Burger King Japan is rolling out a pumpkin burger to capitalize on fall: slices of fried kabocha squash (a squash native to Japan similar to pumpkin), bacon, a beef patty, lettuce, and a sauce made from sesame seeds, peanuts, almonds, cashews, and hazelnuts.
You may have noticed that even the bun shouts out the Halloween gourd: look at those deep cuts.
