Dish Network customers can likely thank The Walking Dead's high ratings for the return of their AMC service - according to Vulture, the cable network and the satellite broadcaster have finally worked out a deal after months stuck in bitter negotiations rooted in the fact that AMC has so many awesome shows that, according to Dish, they were become too expensive of a network to offer to customers while still keeping monthly service fees down.

As part of the deal, AMC will go live for Dish customers tonight - get thee to some Walking Dead reruns, everyone! - and affiliated channels IFC, Sundance, and WeTV will go live on November 1st. Dish will also pay AMC Networks and Cablevision $700 million for the channels.
