A Russian ship that just happened to be carrying 700 tons of gold ore has gone missing on a ship that was sailing from Neran to Feklistov Island in the Sea of Okhotsk. Polymetal, the company that hired the ship, was unable to put a figure on the missing ore.

Following a distress call on Sunday, the ship went missing. Also missing is the ship's nine-man crew.
