Police found 23 cats inside of a "urine-soaked" home in Santa Ana, CA yesterday while investigating a complaint from a neighbor. Animal services were called around 9 a.m. regarding a "strong odor," and investigators say the stench was so foul that they couldn't even open the door. In addition to the cats, investigators also found two adults and eight children between the ages of 2 and 17.

A dog and an African Grey Parrot were also found in the disgusting home. Apparently, all of the animals were held in one room, which was essentially a living quarters and outhouse.
