Back in June, Tumblr updated its iOS app to perform faster when users searched for pages, posted new items, and offered offline support. Now the blogging platform has revamped its iOS and Android apps with some minor tweaks it hopes will improve its users' mobile experience.
The new app sees improvements in the notification and messaging systems. Now users can immediately see when they have a new message and easily respond or create new messages. It's also easier to reblog posts. When the reblog icon is held, the post is automatically shared on your account page. There's also a new sharing menu that's accessible via the "Like" button.
Tumblr says the new app is also faster overall. You can download the app now from Google Play and the Apple App Store.
