There is no doubt that the Hulk was the highlight of this summer’s Avengers. The revamped CGI and personality made the Green Goliath seem like less of a Greek tragedy and more like a full-blown action hero. And although the character wasn’t as deep as he has been in past comics, he sure was a lot of fun to watch on the big screen. And in an interview with MTV, Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige, revealed what we can expect from the character in the future.

”I don’t think there’s a lot that we couldn’t do someday, as the cinematic universe continues to grow and expand and get as big as the comic book universe,” Feige said. “‘Planet Hulk’ is a cool story. ‘World War Hulk’ is a cool story. I think there’s pitfalls of continuity-overload, and mythology getting so dense that it almost collapses in on itself. It happens every few decades or so in the comics. Apart from that, I’d say everything is on the table.”

But fans of the character shouldn’t expect to see either "Planet Hulk" or "World War Hulk" on the screen any time soon because Feige then said, “‘Do I think Hulk can carry a movie and be as entertaining as he was in Avengers? I do believe that. I do believe he absolutely could. We certainly are not even going to attempt that until Avengers 2. So there’s a lot of time to think about it.”

It might seem tempting to blast Hulk into space for an adaptation of "Planet Hulk," but being that the story was just a John Carter of Mars clone in the first place, we’re pretty sure Disney/Marvel wouldn’t want yet another mega flop on their hands. We'll have a better picture of the Hulk's future after Avengers 2 hits theaters in 2015.
