It was previously reported that Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby was being pushed from its original release date of Christmas day to some time in Summer 2013, and now we finally have an official date to mark on our calenders: According to Vulture, the 3-D adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic will be released on May 10, 2013, one week after Iron Man 3 and one week before the Star Trek sequel hits theaters. So many choices!

Taking Gatsby's former spot on Christmas day? Les Miserables, now being released alongside Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained and the Barbra Streisand- Seth Rogen-starring Guilt Trip.
