343 Industries has announced today, that yes, The Flood will be making an appearance in Halo 4.
While not featured as antagonists in the main campaign, The Flood will be bullet worthy in a multi-player infection style game mode. The mode, simply called 'Flood', will be a ten player match that pits two infected Spartans against the other eight players. The infected will have speed and strength bonuses and must infect all of the other players. Last man standing wins the match.
