In one of the most ambitious Star Wars fan-made homages, this Minecraft recreation of The Battle of Hoth is a thing of nerd beauty.

The famous Empire Strikes Back battle was produced by Paradise Decay, a musician and Youtube artist. It took him two months to build the battlefield of Hoth and six days to film and sync the battle to the original score. Calling this impressive is a bit of an understatement.

The whole thing was done without mods and only used in-game engines and effects. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think on Twitter.
