Known In The '70s For: Playing Chrissy on the TV show Three's Company

This quintessential California blonde slogged through a decade of bit parts and guest roles before landing her career-defining job, the role of Chrissy on Three's Company. From 1977-81, she was TV land's favorite ditz, and arguably the best thing about the show. However, when she insisted she be paid on the same scale as contemporary male sitcom stars like Alan Alda and Carroll O'Connor, network ABC said no dice, wrote her out of the show, and terminated her contract. Fortunately, she found redemption with the Thighmaster.
