Known In The '70s For: Appearing on the Merv Griffin Show and hosting the Great Radio City Music Hall Spectacular

In 1969, Anton was crowned Miss California and subsequently went on to compete in the Miss America beauty contest, where she took home the prize for second runner-up. By the mid 1970s, she was primed for showtime and gained notoriety through a string of popular commercials for Muriel cigars. From there, she was able to launch a successful career in TV, and even landed her own variety series alongside country singer Mel Tillis on ABC called Mel and Susan Together. Her career in show business continued well beyond the 70s, too. Antons was the host of the Great Radio City Music Hall Spectacular show at the Flamingo Hilton in Las Vegas for over 5,000 performances until the turn of millenium. Now that's longevity.
