Along with Farrah Fawcett and Kate Jackson, Smith was cemented as a pop culture icon thanks to the sexy (and constantly-remade) crime drama Charlie's Angels. However, outside of kicking ass in bellbottoms, Smith was the queen of made-for-TV movies, starring in The Whiz Kid and the Carnival Caper (1976), The Users (1978), and most notably, Nightkill (1980), which earned her a Golden Globe nomination.
