Ever since he appeared during the end credits of Avengers, comic book fans have been wondering if they would ever see Thanos again on the big screen. Well according to a report on Cosmic Book News, Thanos’ creator, Jim Starlin, said that the Mad Titan might actually be in two upcoming Marvel flicks. The site is claiming that the character will be front and center in both 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy and 2015’s Avengers 2.

Until we see something official from Marvel we can’t confirm that this will actually take place, but it does make some sense. It’s obvious that the company will use Thanos in some capacity after his cameo in Avengers, and with Guardians and Avengers 2 coming out only a year apart, a cliffhanger ending could be a great segue from one film to another. At this point we’ll just have to wait and see.
