Roman Polanski to Adapt "Venus In Fur" For the Big Screen

His wife, Emmanuelle Seigner, will star.

Roman Polanski has announced his follow up film to his 2011 success, Carnage: According to AlloCine, the director is working on an big screen adaptation of the successful Broadway play Venus in Fur, and he's already co-written the script - in French - with original playwright David Ives. Though actress Nina Arianda recently won a Tony award for her role in the play, Polanski's wife Emmanuelle Seigner is set to star in the lead female role, opposite French actor Louis Garrel.
